Beth M. Hert, Founding Principal

Beth M. Hert is a graduate of SUNY Oswego with a Bachelor of Science in Education. In 2004, she earned her Masters Degree in Urban & Multicultural Education from the College of Mount Saint Vincent in Riverdale and then immediately began her coursework towards her New York State licenses for educational administration (SBL & SDL)

Beth has been an educator in District 24 for twelve years. She started her career as an 8th grade English Language Arts teacher at I.S. 77 in Ridgewood Queens. There, she created a model classroom, led professional development workshops, and took an active role in her school community. Beth then moved on to become the Literacy Coach and ultimately Assistant Principal at Leonardo da Vinci Intermediate School 61 in Corona, Queens, one of the city's largest middle schools serving 2300+ students. There, Beth supervised both the English Language Arts and Talent Departments along with The Harvard Academy. She is so thrilled to be the New School Leader for a brand new Middle School in Corona.
